There it is, my first beauty related post! Fun times, huh? In the pic above, You have my current favorite cosmetics, things I've got to have around me, which I cannot picture my life without (a little bit of exaggeration has never hurt, right;-). If You are willing to get to know my feelings towards them, I'm writing a few words about each. Have fun! Gentle Skin Cleanser - CetaphilAs I recall, I have been using this cleanser for about three years now. It serves me as the mentioned cleanser and a make-up remover. It totally does its job and I'm happy with the way it keeps my skin both clean and not dry. To give my face this extra boost of cleanse, I use one of those cleansing sponges along with the cleanser. I believe it is a cheaper alternative to Clarisonic. Effaclar Duo [+] - La Roche-PosayAbout a year ago I had a major skin problem. You know this type of acne when skin on your forehead is so rough, while it should be smooth and shiny (not too shiny though..). I've been there and thanks to this cream I managed to overcome this awful issue. Since then, I've been using it everyday in the morning right after cleansing my skin. Coconut OilCoconut oil - my holy grail! I do not know a single thing it couldn't do. I use it in my hair as a mask, as a body moisturizer, sometimes as a mascara remover and mainly as a face moisturizer. Because of this beaut my skin is smooth, glowy and deals with acne much better. Thumbs up! Miracle Recharge Frizz Remedy - AussieThis is my first product from the brand and I'm quite satisfied with the results I get after using this kind of conditioner. My hair tends to be wavy and frizzy but after using this product, it becomes a lot smoother and straighter. Score! Mango Body Butter - The Body ShopThere it is, lying on the floor in all its glory. I just recently used one of the famous body butters from the body shop for the first time and I'm stoked! It really gives me extra moisture and what is more important, it smells insane! I'm so looking forward to trying more types of the butters. Caramel Cream Lip Butter - NiveaAs those hit the stores I think a year or two ago, I was dying to try them. This caramel one however was the first one on my list and it didn't disappoint me at all. I like how thick it is, how good it smells and of course, how it works on my lips, giving them just the right amount of moisture. They feel so soft afterwards and all because of this little thingy. I highly recommend! PS. The raspberry one is also very good! "On and On Bronze" Color Tattoo - MaybellineI found out about this miraculous gel type of eyeshadow thanks to Ingrid, aka Missglamorazzi from YouTube. I have to admit that eyeshadow as a make-up product was the last but one thing that I would use to do my make-up (mascara was the last thing once. I know crazy!). I don't know, the idea of putting something powdery on my eyelids just creeped me out. But now, when I know about this giant, I cannot imagine my perfect make-up without it. Nail Polish - Sally HansenNot so long ago, I was so pumped to use Sally Hansen nail polish. While doing my drugstore shopping I surprisingly bumped into it and this was it, love at first sight! I love this color ("Flirt" if You're wondering), formula is not so bad, it lasts for a quite long time and it's really resistant. Moisture Renew Lipsticks - RimmelThose lipsticks are just sooo good! The colors are vivid, opaque and beautiful. The formula is great, since not only it gives You soft lips but also keeps them that way throughout the whole wearing process. Keep in mind that those are drugstore lipsticks... Ummm... Yes, please! PS. I've got "Vintage Pink" - 180 and "Sloane's Plum" - 330 Shea Butter Lip Balm - PixiIt smells like Tic Tac, moisturizes Your pretty lips like crazy and gives You an insanely good color payoff, I mean what's better than that?! I love tinted lip balms and this bad boy right here is the best one I've ever had the chance to try. This is huge. Body Mists - The Body ShopThe last real perfume I was using was Chanel Coco Mademoiselle and I don't think I had anything as well scented as it was on my skin ever. But now it's all about body mists for me, they feel lighter on skin and last a really long time. After having one of them for like 6-7 hours on my skin, I could still smell it. And the scents are pretty unique too. I chose brazil nut and vanilla; they are quite similar but if I had to chose one, I'd go for the nutty one. Apocalips Lip Lacquer - RimmelNow this is also something I'd normally not gravitate towards but never say never, right? I tried and I'm glad. Does it rhymed?! Not really... OK. This product by Rimmel is the mix of a lipstick and a lipgloss, I would say. It has this really decent color payoff of a lipstick and a tiny bit of glossy finish of a lipgloss. I'm impressed. The Falsies Feather-Look Volum' Express Mascara - MaybellineAnd here it is, the thing I was so committed not to use back in the day, that I eventually ended up loving it more than anything. Logical, I know. It just feels right having it on my lashes, it gives so much more confidence and makes my look more put together. And this particular mascara gives me no clumps, stays on all day (even on a hot day) and washes off easily too. Make-up Sponge - DmMy Beauty Blender dupe which serves me every single day while putting my BB cream. I feel like it gives me this effect of flawless and natural skin that I couldn't get with anything else. I just slightly wet it before putting my make-up and let the magic happen. I tell Ya, it is a life changer! Tangle TeezerSpeaking of life changers... Words are just not enough to express my feelings to this object! I have really thick hair and in the past, when the time to brush it came, it was just a disaster. I felt like ordinary brushes not only gave me pain, but also damaged my hair. But with this angel, my hair-washing routine is pure pleasure (exaggeration, remember?;-). Nothing more to add... Oh, and it's pink, I mean come on.
Hope You like this different kind of post. Tell me. Take care! I'm back! Finally, huh? I know that it hasn't been that long since I last posted my outfit kind of post, but it feels like it for me.
Either way, from now on I'm gonna use my iPhone to take my pictures; hope it doesn't turn that bad... To the point of the actual outfit. I'm guessing that the sweater is the main attention thief. As the title might indicate, it is entirely handmade by my Momma! Crazy, right? She was knitting it for like three or four days which, if You ask me, is even more insane. I wish I was more patient, so that I could design and actually make my own sweaters. But maybe, one day... I have a few more such pieces and one in the making, which I'm dying to see how it'll turn out. Take care! What I'm wearing: Sweater - handmade Leggings - H&M Sneakers - Superga Bag - Zara Sunglasses - Asos Pics from:
